Gallery Rules 



REQUEST TO EXHIBIT:
  • All artwork is hung for a duration of two weeks. If you have exhibited with us in the past, please allow four weeks between rotations before submiting your request.
  • Submit request to: art.at.klimat@gmail.com . Upload quality images of your artwork to ensure approval. 
  • If approval is granted, first time artists are required to visit Klimat Lounge to finalize booking. You may come by any day after 3PM. Please let us know when you will be stopping by.
ARTWORK HANGING OR TAKING DOWN:
  • Artwork can be scheduled to be hung on the 1st. and 15th. of each month from 4PM to 5PM.
  • At the time of hanging, you will be asked to arrange to have your artwork taken down either on the 1st. or 15th. (at the end of your 2 week rotation) between the hours of 3pm to 4pm.
  • Artwork taking down is scheduled on the 1st. or on the 15th. of each month from 3PM to 4PM.
  • Please note that we do not hang artwork or provide supplies. Please bring your own tools. 
DURATION OF EXHIBITION:
  • Each Art Exhibition will last for a duration of two weeks, or one month if you are a group of artists. 
  • All artwork should remain hung until the end of the exhibition period.
OPENING RECEPTION:
  • The Opening Receptions must be scheduled four weeks in advance.
  • You may choose any day of the week from 5pm to 9pm. Please let us know if you need to make alternate arrangements. 
  • Guests are welcome to stay after the conclusion of the opening reception.
  • We will announce opening receptions on our website, social media sites, and art-related sites for marketing purposes.
  • Catering or Open Bar options are available to accommodate any budget upon request, or if you prefer,                                                              guests can pay for their own food and drinks.
SHOWING RIGHTS:
  • Klimat Lounge Art Gallery reserves the right to market exhibitions, artwork and receptions on our  website, social media sites, and art-related sites.
  • In addition, we ask that artist back-link to the Klimat Lounge website in order for us to include links to personal sites.
  • Klimat Lounge reserves the right to remove, if necessary, artwork hung in the downstairs gallery for the duration of 24 hours for the private events (all artwork will be rehung in its original position).
LIABILITY: 
  • Artists are responsible for insuring their artwork. Klimat Lounge cannot be held accountable for damages.
  • Artwork left after the duration of exhibition will be removed and stored for a period of 2 weeks. After 2 weeks the artwork will be considered abandoned and confiscated at no cost to either party. 
  • We do not warranty or charge commissions from sales.
